Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese art of exercising

body and mind.

The main way to practice Tai Chi is the Form .

The Form is a sequence of movements that flow

one into the other without stops.

The Form is performed slowly with a constant rhythm till its end. The movements are light.

The body is aligned, strong,  but at the same time relaxed.

The slow rhythm allows to focus the mind on the body

and in this way emerges Awareness.

Training the mind to connect with the body leads

to the development of the Internal Power.

The mind is consequently trained to focus on

each activity of everyday life.

The slow rhythm is necessary for one to reach Serenity and Balance.

Mind and body are trained in such a way

that the daily  mental and physical

activities can be done with ease

without consuming excess energy and without injuries.

Serenity , Mental and Physical Well-Being

which one acquires after regular and

long-term practice of Tai Chi,

makes this art an effective method of self-defense

against the demanding activities of everyday life.

The gentle practice of Tai Chi makes it accessible to everybody.

Last but not least, I would like to refer to the most important

-in my opinion- quote from ancient Chinese philosophy

that lives inside Tai Chi:

" No one and nothing can harm the one who is Serene with his

Inner Strength developed ."
